NASS to Release Farm Safety Survey Results on May 30

The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) announces that it will release two farm safety reports on May 30, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. ET. The two reports are: Agricultural Safety: 2009 Injuries to Adults on Farms and 2011 Farm and Ranch Safety Survey. NASS conducted the surveys on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). NIOSH wanted to better understand the magnitude and scope of hazardous exposures on agricultural operations and agriculture-related injuries to adults working on farms.
