NASS to Release Cherry Report on March 17

The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) announces that it will release a special issue of the Cherry Production report on March 17, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. ET. This report was produced at the request of, and funded by USDA’s Risk Management Agency. The report will contain preliminary estimates of acreage, yield, production, price, and value for both sweet and tart cherries for the 2013 crop season, as well as revisions to the 2012 crop. Final 2013 estimates will be released on July 17, 2014 in the Noncitrus Fruits and Nuts Annual Summary. All NASS reports are available online at www.nass.usda.gov.
