Quick Stats

The Quick Stats database is the most comprehensive tool for accessing agricultural data published by NASS. It allows you to customize your query by commodity, location, or time period. You can then visualize the data on a map, manipulate and export the results, or save a link for future use.

You can also download QuickStats data (*.gz). The data files are updated following each week day.

Quick Stats Lite

Quick Stats Lite provides a more structured approach to get commonly requested statistics from our online database.

Census Data Query Tool

The Census Data Query Tool (CDQT) is a web based tool that is available to access and download table level data from the 2012 and 2017 Census of Agriculture Volume 1 publication.

JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)

JSON is an open-standard file format that uses human-readable text to transmit data objects consisting of attribute-value pairs and array data types.

For NASS’s major reports, a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) file will be available at release time which will contain equivalent data as that available through the Quickstats API. By clicking on the links below, you will be provided tables that show the specific variables. Also included in the tables below are links to previous JSON files.
